PT Khrisna Bali International Cargo (Khrisna Logistics) signed a memorandum of cooperation with Iruna eLogistics, a digital based logistic solution provider. The signing was done by Anak Agung Ngurah Aditya Pradnyana Sunu as Director of Khrisna Logistics with Yan Hendry Jauwena as CEO of Iruna eLogistics.

MANGUPURA, BALI (infolog): According to Aditya, Khrisna Logistics has over 25 years experience and is a medium-sized business partner, supply chain including cross border logistics.

“In addition to anticipating the rate of e-commerce goods, Bali is the world’s gallery, all products from the archipelago gather here to be marketed to tourists. Khrisna Logistics’s cooperation with eLogistics will increase the quality of service we have dedicated to our partners, namely IKM, especially in Bali,”  said Aditya at the signing ceremony with Iruna eLogistics as quoted by Balipost.com as saying.

To improve its services, he said Khrisna Logistics should be able to keep up with the times and reach the wider market.

“Therefore, Khrisna Logistics should turn Khrisna eLogistics, a service-based logistics service that includes fulfillment center, stock management at warehousing, last mile delivery, inter-channel distribution management, integration with marketplace,” he said.

He hopes through this collaboration, Khrisna Logistics can enter the digital world and prepare for a new era with the spirit of Total logistics solution.

Khrisna Logistics was established in 1991 with its headquarters in the heart of Kuta. A year later, due to the rapid growth of business, a new branch in the busy district of Ubud was established.

Khrisna Logistics received the IATA Award as an Accredited Logistics Agent in 1996 with countless awards in subsequent years. In 2002, a cold storage facility was built at Ngurah Rai International Airport equipped with modern technology to meet clients’ needs.

To improve professional handling, packing and warehousing facilities, five warehouses were built with a total space of about 5,000 square meters in 2004.

This warehouse aims to ensure the convenience of loading and unloading logistics and minimizing the risk of damage. In 2005 Khrisna Logistics built another large warehouse near Benoa Harbor with a total space of 1,500 square meters to meet the client’s needs at warehouse facilities.

With remarkable accomplishments in the last two decades, Khrisna Logistics has been designated as one of the Bonded Logistics Centers in Indonesia officially inaugurated by Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Thursday, March 10, 2016 as part of the second economic stimulus package launched by the Indonesian government, which was inaugurated September 30 2015 ago.

The Bonded Logistics Center aims to assist small and medium-sized entrepreneurs and reduce the logistics costs that are expected to increase Indonesia’s competitive edge in the economy in Southeast Asia. (ac)
