Indonesian Port (Pelindo) II Banten served the unloading of imported wheat from MV vessel Caroline Victory.  It was suspected that the grain from Ukraine had no Quarantine and Customs papers.

CILEGON (infolog): MV vessel Caroline Victory was scheduled to arrive at Pelindo II Banten from January 2, 2018. The wheat was imported by PT Nutrindo Bogarasa and PT Golden Grand Mills as much as 31,294 MT.

The allegedly unloading process of loading of imported goods is done without documents unloading goods from Customs and Quarantine.

General Manager of PT Pelindo II Banten, confirmed that Armen Amir has not been aware of the alleged unloading of wheat goods from MV Caroline Victory vessel without documents and Customs and Quarantine inspection of Cilegon.

“Intermittently, I have not arrived at the office. Later I check, “he said as quoted by Bantennews.co.id as saying.

Meanwhile, Head of Cilegon Class II Agriculture Quarantine Balai, Heri Yulianto said his party did not deny if it was informed that there was no such document yet.

Unexpected unloading and unloading documents, Heri said, is still under investigation.

“We just checked, later can ask Ibu Ida (head of plant). Now we are checking the officers first in the field. We are confirming the truth in the field, “he said. (ac)
