Strengthening human resource competitiveness to innovation of competitive logistics services became the main discussion in ILFA National Congress held in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Sunday (11/2/2018).
MAKASSAR (infolog): Chairman of ILFA Sulselbar (Southwest Sulawesi), Syaifuddin Syaharudi said that the rakernas that followed by the whole board of associations from the local to the center are also oriented to produce recommendations that can be a reference in strengthening the logistics system in the country.
“Hopefully there will be a lot of recommendations to come up in. This Rakernas will focus on building a locomotive and its output will be a record for us to inform the government about the supply chain to be more efficient and effective especially in eastern Indonesia,” he said as quoted by Bisnis.com as saying.
The Indonesian Logistics and Forwarders Association (ILFA) of South Sulawesi hosts the organizers of the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) this year.
According to Syaifuddin, the rakernas also collects the delivery of each region about the problems or problems that have hindered the delivery of logistics so that will be discussed how to solve various problems.
Head of South Sulawesi’s Trade Service Hadi Basalamah said that logistics has contributed greatly to Indonesia’s gross domestic product (GDP).
This congregation, he said, became a good meeting and momentum to discuss the logistics, especially the development of maritime and port services business in eastern Indonesia.
“So how to get closer and efficient cost of logistics between us in the eastern part with Indonesia is the hope of South Sulawesi that we propose to be discussed in this meeting,” said Hadi who became the representative of South Sulawesi Provincial Government in the event. (tribunnews.com/ac)
