PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IPCC) obtained an increase in profit for the year in the first half of 2018 by 56%. The increase was from Rp 59.9 billion in the first half of 2017 to Rp 94.8 billion.
IPCC President Director Chiefy Adi Kusmargono said the target for the company’s profit in 2018 is expected to double. The company’s profit last year was Rp 130.1 billion.
Adi said that he has prepared several strategies to pursue the target. For example, at the end of the first semester of 2018 it has added 3 hectares of land and has contributed to the company’s revenue in the first semester of 2018.
One hectare called Adi can accommodate around 30 thousand cars per year. With an additional 3 hectares, it means that the IPCC capacity has increased by 90 thousand cars.
“There is also an additional one hectare for the pier connecting Tanjung Priok to Lampung,” Adi said to Kontan.co.id, Wednesday (1/8) quoted as saying
In the interim, IPCC has only become the operator of the Tanjung Priok pier which connects to Lampung. In the second semester, IPCC will also be operators at the existing port at the port of Lampung.
“So later loading and unloading from Lampung to Tanjung Priok us, and vice versa,” added Adi.
The IPCC is also aiming to become a vehicle terminal operator in a number of locations namely Pontianak, Palembang, Makassar and Samarinda.
For the operation of vehicle terminals in Makassar and Samarinda, IPCC has signed a joint agreement with PT Pelindo IV. (ac)
