JAKARTA (infolog): Rudolf Valentino Bey, President Director of PT Airin, said that the existence of a company operating in Tanjung Priok port will also continue to establish strategic partnerships with Pelabuhan Indonesia II subsidiaries in order to support the smooth flow of goods from and to the port of Priok. “The synergy between BUMN and BUMN subsidiaries will continue to be done as the program that has been proclaimed the Ministry of SOEs Office against it,” he said to Bisnis.com, Monday (16/4/2018) as quoted as saying. Rudolf said, fellow SOEs are brothers so it should synergize in order to increase the national economic growth and welfare of the wider community.
“In the Port of Priok for example, there are quite a few Pelindo II subsidiaries such as JICT, TPK Koja, MTI and others, we consider them not as competitors in the logistics business, but as brothers who are both BUMN subsidiaries and can be done synergy,” he said. Recently, PT Airin has also expanded to operate a new warehouse facility of 3,670 sqm to support logistics services and general cargo warehousing activities at Tanjung Priok Port Jakarta. The warehouse facility located at Jalan Sindang Laut, Kalibaru, Cilincing, North Jakarta, was built by PT Airin through internal funds of the company with investment of Rp 5.5 billion for land settlement and warehouse repairs.
